Interestingly in Australia golf is growing, the 4 different courses I play have on average 130 kids joining and playing regularly, it is similar across where I live. Most of them don't care about all what LIV and PGA are doing, the elites think they do, just shows how removed they are from the general players. Australian Open amazing how many Young players we there over the weekend golf in Australia is growing.

Contrary to Phil's denial I believe he and his brother have advised Jon that now is the time to come to LIV while they're still offering $. The PGA Tour is a sinking ship and the players that stay on it will get nothing from LIV in the end.

Non Competition clause, until end of this year. So no deal should be possible to announce.

Secondly any deal appears conditional on Liv changing how their tournaments run if Johns previous statements carry any weight.

72 players on Liv from Jan 1 4 day tounaments.

If Jon does go to LIV, he will be a world golf hero (everywhere outside the US) Fans like me hate the PGAT for what they have done to maim other world tours

Paul - you're not alone by any stretch! From Spain to Aus, Jon would be the global golf champion.

PGAT destroyed the Euro tour...so its now a feeder tour.....disgraceful.....I grew up watching the Aussie Open which was a world event...now basically only Aussie players....shameful

PIP $100 million hand outs to favored players is poor management.....giving Tiger and Rory $25+M is a disgrace

The PGAT have damaged themselves.....its all self inflicted by dumb management....life bans for LIV players was the dumbest move ever

........100% mismanaged. Hard to imagine how PGAT could have handled it worse.

The problem with the zero vision PGAT is they want all their events played in the US....the other 50% of the world's golf fans will reject that.

LIV with 15 teams makes a lot of sense....

Another option is that the PGAT future strategy does not change...US only top pro golf. and PIF sees the opportunity to cover the rest of the world......without the crooked BS

Maybe PIF sees nothing but chaos going forward for PGAT, and the Americans have proven again they can't be trusted..e.g. OWGR totally corrupt decision.....PE firm BS, Tour member fight for more control......PIF are serious people, and they won't accept PGAT crooked games

It doesn't make much sense for Jon to move to LIV IF PIF will join NewCo......If PIF have decided they can't accept the PGAT crooked actions, then it makes much more sense for Jon to sign with LIV...Maybe the corrupt OWGR board decision a few weeks ago was the straw that broke the Saudi's back
